Art

In a snowing afternoon I have discovered the Bodini Museum, a well-arranged place in the old town of Gemonio.

The Italian sculptor gave his collection to the town for a permanent exhibition location.

In the Museum there are some interesting works of Bodini, a good collection of other artists’ works and a really interesting library.

The space hosts temporal exhibitions, the Bucci‘s one has yet finished.

Blinded by the Anselm Kiefer work, I’ve forgot to talk about Alfredo Jaar. In fact It is difficult is the temporal exhibition placed in the Hangar Bicocca.

Jaar is an author who try to make public what the bad part of the word is. We live in the quiet, but more than half word is closed in a different situation that Jaar would stress.

My favourite work is the one of the picture below.

Part of the exposition is placed in Spazio Oberdan, Milan.

Huge, immense, astonishing.

For me this is really a surprise. To find such incredible exposition in the Hangar Bicocca, a industrial place in the north of Milan.

Actually I’m talking about The Seven Heavenly Palaces, a work of Anselm Kiefer.

I can’t describe it, you have just to see it.

A site specific installation designed by Massimo Uberti was placed at the Palazzo delle Stelline in Milan.

The magnolia cloister was been chosen to arrange this Uberti work, all realized by neon lamps.

This photo shows how it appears during the daylight, but it should be viewed at the sunset.
