Dario Rodighiero is an interaction designer with an attitude to interdisciplinary works.

At the University of Milano-Bicocca he attended the Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science  with a thesis about information visualization and the Master’s degree in Psychology with an interdisciplinary thesis on Information Retrieval.

He worked as HCI specialist from 2001 to 2003 at the DISCo department on MILK, a knowledge-management international research project founded by the IST Programme. MILK has been developed in collaboration with Domus Academy, Fraunhofer Institut and Xerox Research Centre.

Between 2006 and 2010 he worked for European Commission at the Joint Research Centre in Ispra, Italy. At the JRC Central Library he spent three years working on SIRS, an Information Retrieval project based on visualization of mapping between thesauri and relative documents. Part of the project was carried out with FAO, British Geological Survey and Italian National Library in Florence. At the Institute for the Protection and Security of the Citizen (IPSC) he developed an interface for a fishing surveillance system.

Now is working at Certilogo, a company interested in brand protection. His role as Product Interaction Designer is positioned exactly between computer scientist and graphic designers in the design process.
